Mr. Krabs meets and falls in love with an anthropomorphic pile of cash named Cashina. Unknown to Mr. Krabs, Cashina is actually a robot piloted by Plankton who intends to scam Mr. Krabs into giving him the Krabby Patty secret formula.

To earn some money and hang out with her friends, Pearl looks for a job at the mall. The only store that is hiring — Grandma’s Apron, which is oriented towards elderly women — is unpopular with her friends.

SpongeBob gives out too many thumbs-ups, causing him to break his thumbs. Unable to work, he falls into a depression until Sandy encourages him to re-train his thumbs.

SpongeBob joins a gang called the Sharks, but soon learns that they are feared and hated around town. When SpongeBob mistakenly believes the Sharks kidnapped Gary, SpongeBob prepares to fight with them at a showdown, only to find that it is a dance battle, with Gary as the DJ.

Plankton clones SpongeBob using a printer. He sends the clones to get the Krabby Patty formula, although SpongeBob interferes by befriending them.

A TV commercial misleads SpongeBob and Patrick into thinking that their houses have been sold. A crate of fortune cookies falls into SpongeBob’s backyard. He shares them with Mr. Krabs, who finds that all the fortunes magically come true. To sabotage his business, Plankton begins writing insulting and negative fortunes, culminating in a death threat against Krabs unless he gives up the formula.

Following a surplus of acorns from an experimental fertilizer, Sandy produces a nut-based food product called Nutty Butter, which becomes popular around town. However, when her tree’s health starts to suffer, Sandy is unsure whether to keep producing Nutty Butter or save her tree.

A community bulletin board is posted inside the Krusty Krab. While it attracts positive comments at first, an anonymous user begins bullying and insulting people. SpongeBob, Squidward, and Mr. Krabs hold a stakeout to find out who it is.

SpongeBob, Mr. Krabs, Squidward, and Patrick head to Food Con, where Mr. Krabs plans to present the Krabby Patty and win an award. Patrick eats all the Krabby Patties on the way, leaving only one, which the group must protect while they are stranded in the forest.

Gary’s slime deforms a letter on SpongeBob’s note to his pen pal, from “frying” to “flying.” SpongeBob does not want to disappoint his pen pal and admit the mistake, so Sandy teaches him how to be a pilot in time for the Bikini Bottom Air Show.

Mr. Krabs has SpongeBob keep the secret formula safe in his house. While SpongeBob is away, Gary is left to defend the house from Plankton.

Plankton creates a sauce that lowers the intelligence of whoever eats it. The fumes are sucked into an air vent, absorbed by a cloud, and rain on Bikini Bottom, turning everyone as stupid as Patrick. Sandy and Karen are the only ones not affected, and must re-educate the town.

The Krusty Krab is caught in a rip current, trapping everyone inside. Annoyed by Mr. Krabs’s greedy and rude nature, the customers seek new leadership.

Patrick has a toothache, and a visit to the dentist reveals that he needs his last baby tooth removed. Although he is frightened, Patrick is able to go through with his dental appointment with encouragement from SpongeBob.

SpongeBob and Patrick buy a popular toy, where the user detaches their brain from their head, then flies it around as a drone. A cranky old man kidnaps all the brains, so SpongeBob and Patrick get Sandy’s help to confront him.

SpongeBob and Patrick have fun pretending to be Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy. Mr. Krabs, secretly a fan of the series, has him and Squidward play along as supervillains.

Squidward tricks SpongeBob into fearing that he has become allergic to his pineapple. When Squidward takes SpongeBob to find a new house, he ends up coming across one that he wants instead, and tries to convince SpongeBob not to buy it.

Squidward goes to get a nose job at the hospital. SpongeBob is mistaken for a doctor, and has to help various patients, culminating in Squidward’s nose surgery.

Upon learning that “imitation is the sincerest form of flattery” from Squidward, SpongeBob impresses his friends through impressions of them. He becomes so obsessed with impressions that he loses his own identity, and SpongeBob’s friends need to imitate him to remind him who he is.

SpongeBob takes pity on a worm and allows it to live in his body. However, the worm takes advantage and invites many of his friends over, resulting in SpongeBob becoming infested with worms, unable to get rid of them.

Squidward has a clarinet recital and finds himself unable to sleep. When he passes out in SpongeBob’s house, SpongeBob and Patrick are unable to wake him up. Squidward insists that SpongeBob is the only reason why the Krusty Krab is popular. Out of jealousy, Mr. Krabs kicks SpongeBob out of the restaurant, where he starts his own restaurant at home. The Krusty Krab fails as Mr. Krabs tries to re-attract customers, while SpongeBob’s restaurant becomes a success.

Karen is angry at Plankton’s uncaring and unappreciative nature, kicking him out of the restaurant until he can improve himself. SpongeBob and Patrick try to teach Plankton how to be a nicer person.

SpongeBob and Patrick buy life insurance, and believe that it means they cannot get injured. A series of lucky coincidences convinces Squidward as well. When Mr. Krabs explains what life insurance really means, SpongeBob and Patrick try to tell Squidward as he attempts a dangerous obstacle course.

Unable to earn a license for a real boat, SpongeBob creates his own boat out of bubbles. These become popular around town, and Mrs. Puff is forced to attend SpongeBob’s “Bubble Boating School.”

After many failures, Plankton closes the Chum Bucket and starts a new life in a faraway town. SpongeBob and Mr. Krabs, who does not believe that Plankton has truly changed, follow him.

SpongeBob and King Neptune swap their spatula and trident. Neptune is unable to fight a kraken using SpongeBob’s spatula and tries to find his trident, while SpongeBob uses the trident to grant wishes that end up backfiring.

SpongeBob turns up the temperature on the grill, but shrinks from the heat. At his tiny size, he confronts an urchin, is mistaken for an action figure by a group of kids, and is hired as a personal hygienist.

SpongeBob and Patrick find Sandy’s box of sports equipment, but do not know how to play the sports. As revenge, Squidward teaches them incorrect and painful ways to play. Sandy eventually finds out, and beats Squidward at his own game.
